Local Index

CareerVision's Local Index product was initially developed for and in consultation with Bristol City Council. Established in 2007, the Index operates as a database hub linking all children's services in Bristol to one localised database.

The Index was born out of the Common Assessment Framework (eCAF), which is linked to the Index to allow practitioners to search for a young person to ascertain which services are currently working with the young person if a CAF already exists for that young person.

The Index has been successful in ensuring that all young people receive the utmost support from their local children's services and to that end Bristol City Council were finalists in the e-GOV awards 2008.
