e-CAF

A Central feature of the Every Child Matters Agenda, the CAF plays a key part of delivering an integrated service, and is focused around the needs of children and young people. 

The CAF is a standardised approach to conducting assessments of children's additional needs and deciding how these should be met. It can be used by practitioners in children's services throughout England.

CareerVision's e-CAF solution is a fully web-enabled solution that conforms to the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools and Families) specification, as well as providing a user friendly and comprehensive approach to CAF.  Our e-CAF program can be used on its own or can be integrated with our Core+ CCIS Database, via our CAPIR module.

With or without integration with Core+ our e-CAF module provides an easy to use ‘Distance Travelled' module to monitor a young person's progress over time.  This can be displayed in graphical format for quick and easy reference.

Our e-CAF program also offers the flexibility of integration with our Local Index product to provide access to young person's basic details records.
