LCCIS
LCCIS, our London Index was developed in consultation with each of the 5 sub regions in the Greater London area, to allow the five London Connexions Partnerships to transfer young person's data to a centralised database (LCCIS).
Within LCCIS the young person's data from each of the five partnerships is matched to form a single record for each young person, this allows a Connexions Adviser to find which other service(s) "know" the young person.
LCCIS is fully integrated into our Core+ CCIS database to allow Connexions Personal Advisers to search the LCCIS database without the need to logon to a separate system.
Since it's implementation in 2008, figures show a reduction in the number of ‘unknown' destinations of young people, compared to an increase for the rest of England. Similarly, the number of NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) has decreased, compared to an increase for the rest of England.
